Survey of ME/CFS researchers and researchers in related fields

The Mason Foundation is a charitable trust that supports medical and scientific research on myalgic encephalomyelitis / chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS).

The Mason Foundation has engaged Nous Group (Nous) to investigate the viability a biobank for ME/CFS research in Australia. Nous will investigate viability through analysis of market need and a limited cost-benefit analysis to assess scope options of a potential biobank. Nous is also investigating the viability of establishing a patient database/registry for ME/CFS research. The purpose of this project is to assist the Mason Foundation to make a final decision on whether it should fund the establishment of a biobank for ME/CFS research.
If the Mason Foundation does decide to fund a biobank, it would continue to contribute some funds towards its existing ME/CFS research grants program.

As part of the project, Nous is surveying researchers in the study of ME/CFS and related fields. The purpose of the survey is to inform the assessment of demand for the biobank.

The survey takes approximately 5-10 minutes. Responses are confidential and will be recorded anonymously. Nous will not attribute any responses to individuals.

If you have any questions about the project, please contact Holly Norrie (Nous Group) at or on (02) 8281 8054.
